HUNTER is an esolang designed for and submitted to the 2000 Esoteric Awards.

Technical Information
This is hunter.pl running on perl 5.8.8 compiled with DJGPP for DOS, running in DOSBox. The Perl install here is severely stripped-down in order to optimize load time; for a full Perl install for DOS, see Perl 5.8.8 for DOS.
A menu is included to make it easier to select a HUNTER program and see it run.
You can also exit the menu and use DOS commands directly.
Note that DOSBox does not handle long filenames, so when referring to files you need to use the file's mangled 8.3 name.
